Backyard Food Forest

This garden was planted in the Spring of 2023 and has already seen lush growth. The goal of this garden is to provide as much food as possible, while also attracting birds and butterflies to forage. Bananas are grown for their quick shade, starchy green fruit, and tropical aesthetic. Nothing says tropical like big, broad leaves. Moringa, Katuk, and Longevity Spinach are used as a staple source of leafy greens. Raised beds are used for annual gardening, because who can resist fresh kale or cut greens?
